The same can be said for the way most organisations approach crisis planning and managementů.

  • There are those who draw up plans and ensure that they have people ready to deal with any crisis or major issue that may occur (remembering that a crisis can just as easily be about good news as about bad)
  • Some know they really should but don't because the budget won't allow it/they don't have time/it'll never happen to them
  • And there are those who find themselves salvaging what they can of their business.

The question is not whether a crisis will hit your organisation, but when.
